She holds a Master of Science in Human Nutrition from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Physiology and Metabolism from the University of California, Berkeley. She completed her dietetic training at the Medical University of South Carolina. Mia is known for translating the latest evidence-based information and making it tangible for her clients, readers and television viewers to readily implement into their lives.
